Volunteer Chris Denniston is a very special volunteer at Alley Cat Advocates. For over 10 years Chris has been volunteering and supporting Alley Cat Advocates great work. She has spent most of that time using her experience and knowledge to help the smallest of our charges survive. Chris found Alley Cat Advocates when a stray that she was feeding showed up injured. Because of Alley Cat Advocates Gold Standard of Care her cat was able to have his injury treated and be neutered and vaccinated all at the same time. Chris is a retired Jefferson County Public School teacher/administrator and once enjoyed showing purebred cats in the Cat Fanciers Association. Now puts all of her passion into Alley Cat Advocates’ mission. Chris loves the joy of caring for the sickest babies and seeing them recover to live their complete happy lives!
