Tierney is still new at Alley Cat Advocates. She has only been volunteering since November 2019, but she has quickly become a familiar face around the Community Cat Complex. She started doing phone call transcription from home, but since new opportunities have opened she has jumped in to learn and help as much as possible. In addition to transcription, she is on the Education and Outreach Team and does tabling at events. She also does laundry, helps monitor cats after surgery and recently she has been learning to return calls. Tierney says that Alley Cat Advocates staff are “cool.” She loves to see “how many people care about the cats and want them healthy.” Staff say that Tierney is pretty “cool” as well. She is a fast learner and super eager to help wherever help is needed.
Tierney is a student and she lives with 2 cats, 3 hamsters and 2 dogs. She loves to bake and make miniature scenes for her hamster photos in her spare time.
