It is with mixed emotions that we announce that our current Executive Director and Founder of Alley Cat Advocates, Karen Little, will be retiring in 2026. As such, a search for an Executive Director is being launched.
This transition marks an exciting new chapter for our organization. The Board of Directors is undertaking a thoughtful and inclusive process to identify our next leader—someone who shares Alley Cat Advocates’ vision and values and will guide us into the future. Throughout this process, we remain committed to transparency and fairness, and we are grateful to our staff and stakeholders whose voices and insights helped shape the position profile.
