Valerie Farsetti carries almost 10 years of community health and animal welfare experience. She received her undergraduate degree in social work from Western Kentucky University, and then went on to complete a Master’s in Social Work, centered in One Health, sustainable development, and Animal-Assisted Social Work, from the University of Denver.
Her passion for the human-animal bond, animal welfare, community practice, and experience in sustainable development has taken her from South America to Africa to Asia, where she worked to support individual empowerment and sustainable systems collectively centered around human, animal, and environmental health. Valerie combines One Health principles with her passion for community growth and development; aiming to improve her community on both micro- and macro-levels.
