Katy Black has literally been an animal lover since she uttered her first word, “Josh,” which was the name of the babysitter’s dog! In the past she has worked at a variety of animal clinics and she has enjoyed every one! Katy says that she is “honored to have been chosen to work at Alley Cat Advocates.” She truly loves being part of a wonderful team that works to improve the lives of community cats. Katy looks forward to coming to work each day. Who wouldn’t want to be able to say that! However, her life isn’t just filled with the furry friends at Alley Cat Advocates. Katy currently lives with 2 dogs, Cheyenne the husky and Walter the rescue mix, plus her 5 cats – Mercy, Fury, Newt, Mr. Feeny and Ramona. Katy says that rescued pets are the best and can’t imagine life without her furry family!
