Alley Cat Advocates is very happy to welcome Emily Crowl, DVM to the team! Dr. Crowl was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois and attended University of IL for veterinary school. After school she spent a few years in Texas, but ultimately decided to move back up north to be close to family and to spend time with her new niece (who is now 5 months old!). Outside of work, Dr. Crowl loves spending time with family and friends, exploring Louisville, traveling, listening to podcasts, and going to the gym. She also loves to spend time with her 3 cats, Lucy, Desi, and Kitty.
Dr. Crowl says, “I knew even before graduating veterinary school that I wanted to use my skillset to help the community and to reduce pet and community cat overpopulation. Having a passion for high volume surgery, Alley Cat Advocates seemed to be the perfect fit! Even after being here for a short time, I love seeing ACA’s overwhelming desire and commitment to providing TNR services to the community and to go above and beyond to provide the necessary care for these animals.”
