Chelsea Anderson has been a volunteer with Alley Cat Advocates since November 2019. In that time she has found her niche in transcription, but we can count on her wherever she is needed – creating holiday vet baskets, trap distribution and tabling. Of course, the cats are what drew Chelsea’s attention to Alley Cat Advocates. She says she knew she wanted to be involved with a feline related organization and “after seeing and hearing everything that they’ve done in the community, I knew it was a great organization to be involved with.” Chelsea loves knowing that she has a hand in controlling the cat population here in Louisville and the surrounding areas. At home, Chelsea has two kitties, Marshall (7) and Kal-El (5). When she isn’t working at American Heart Association (or being quarantined) she likes to attend Refit at Southeast Sports & Fitness, play trivia with friends and catch up on my Netflix and Hulu. She is also an active member at Southeast Christian Church and has gotten to know the Louisville community pretty well since moving here in August 2019 through volunteering with Gilda’s Club, Thrift ‘n’ Thrive and being an Actors Associate at Actor’s Theatre in addition to working with Alley Cat Advocates.
