Alley Cat Advocates recently welcomed Lily Carothers, Madison Haller, Hallie Huff, Katy Kline, Rhiannon Langel, and Brianna Vitt to our intern team. All students at the University of Louisville majoring in Marketing, these young professionals have chosen to spend their semester helping the cats. They will be sharing information with our supporters via newsletter, web and social media.
Lily is a senior marketing major at the University of Louisville. When she is not at school she enjoys playing her violin and drinking a lot of coffee! She is a long time cat enthusiast and even has a three legged cat, named Peggy, who went through ACA!
Madison is a senior graduating in December 2018. Madison enjoys going on hikes with her dog, reading novels, spending time with her friends, and doing puzzles.
Hallie is finishing up her MBA at Bellarmine University this spring. An independent study class is what brought her to Alley Cat Advocates, using Google Analytics to ensure the website is getting all the publicity it can! While she has never had the pleasure of a feline friend, her rescue dog Otto, is the best friend she could ever have. Hallie has always had a passion for animals and is thrilled to work with any organization that helps keep animals happy and safe.
Katy is a senior marketing major at the University of Louisville. She rescued a cat about a year ago named Winston that was an Alley Cat. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and horseback riding.
Rhiannon works third shift at UPS. She wanted to help local cats and stepped up to join the team last year. In her free time, she likes to cross stitch and read Harry Potter books. We are excited to have her back on the team!
Brianna is double majoring in marketing and equine business. She has always been an animal lover. Horses are her favorite animal and she spends most of her free time at the racetrack. She has a cat named Buttons and fosters dogs for a local rescue.
