Dusty Update
Hugs and purrrrrs from Dusty! Thanks to the awesome supporters and friends of Alley Cat Advocates, Dusty was able to have his critical ear polyp removal surgery (both ears) on May 31st! Surgery went well and Dusty is back home recovering with his foster mom.
Surgery on the middle ear impacts balance and coordination, so Dusty is a bit wobbly right now. This will improve/resolve over the next 6 weeks.
Dusty will never know all the wonderful people who donated toward his surgery, or those who lifted him up with words of encouragement and good wishes … but Alley Cat Advocates knows … and thanks each and every one of you for supporting Dusty!

Dusty came to Alley Cat Advocates as a pre-teen. We quickly determined that he had a large ear polyp. Dusty was treated, neutered and the ear polyp was surgically removed. Unfortunately, while recovering in foster care, he continued to have ear infections and a head tilt. He underwent more tests by a specialist who found that he now has multiple polyps in both ears. If these polyps are not removed, they will eventually invade his nasal and throat area and end Dusty’s life.
Dusty needs an expensive surgery and we’re $800 from having enough to move forward to save his life.
