Megan Cahill joined our volunteer team six years ago. She immediately knew this was the perfect organization for her. She felt at home from the day she attended volunteer orientation. Megan said, “With so many like-minded individuals, I knew this was the perfect place for me to volunteer.” Not to mention, Megan also knew she wouldn’t end up adopting any more cats through Alley Cat Advocates. All of the cats who come to ACA already have loving caretakers.

Megan is also a community cat caretaker and had used our services to get several of her community cats fixed. Megan started out by joining the personnel team and soon became the team leader. She also worked at our Saturday Trap Distribution events, the Big Fix, and helped to feed kitties at the SNIP clinic. Today she schedules volunteers for different events and projects.

Megan has really enjoyed her time with Alley Cat Advocates and wanted to let new or future volunteers know, “Everyone is so caring, friendly, helpful and united in the mission of caring for un-owned community kitties. Volunteers are always a very special type of person. This is a wonderful organization and does so much good for our area community cats.”

We wanted to take this time and say thank you to Megan and all of our great volunteers. Interested in becoming a volunteer? Learn more …
