Dr. Katie Todd has been with Alley Cat Advocates as a volunteer since 2005. When she returned to town after attending vet school, she found that Alley Cat Advocates was a place that she could use her veterinary skill set to help her community. Dr. Todd has performed surgery and done other veterinary care for community cats at the Big Fix, Quick Fix and now at the Community Cat Complex. She is also in her fourth year of service on the Alley Cat Advocates Board of Directors. She says that she loves hearing stories from caretakers because they remind her of the difference Alley Cat Advocates’ work makes in people’s lives. Like all of us, she finds the cute kittens to be a bonus, too. Dr. Todd shares her home with 3 cats, 2 children and 1 husband. When she isn’t saving lives she enjoys baking and crafts with her children, gardening with her husband and stays fit doing Cross Fit. As a family, they spend time hiking, camping and traveling as much as possible.
