flower2This sweet girl arrived at Alley Cat Advocates with serious injuries, a ruptured and bulging eye, broken jaw, and an injured tongue. She had likely been hit by a car and was found in her neighborhood emaciated, dehydrated and unable to eat.

After just a few weeks with the Alley Cat Advocates team, she is healing and feeling like herself again. She made her debut at our monthly meeting and walked down the table introducing herself to each person.

When Executive Director, Karen Little, asked us to name her, a volunteer suggested “Flower.” As she heard her new name, this delicate little cat head-bumped Karen, a sweet sign of her approval of her new name.

Flower will remain in foster care at Alley Cat Advocates as she recovers. Due to her injured tongue and jaw, she will require extra care and attention, Flower will not return to her neighborhood. She will find a forever inside home.

The cost of Flower’s surgeries and care have exceeded $500. Please consider making a gift in Flower’s honor to help us to continue to provide our community cats with the gold standard of care.  Flower says, “Thank you to all of the people who have been a part of my recovery. Head bump!”
